We are pleased to have a new article written about us in the Sound & Town yesterday about our dojo. We are proud to be part of the vibrant local diverse communities of southern Westchester County. This is an interview conducted last week with Sensei Norman Smith and myself. The article discusses some of our insights and experiences in starting up a new karate school in the middle of a recession. Sensei Norman Smith, Senpai Miguel Novoa and myself are very proud of all of the work we have completed to open the dojo, that we provide a beautiful facility in which to train and that we offer quality traditional shotokan karate training for the local community. We are very pleased of the progress our students are making. Word of our school is getting out as our membership continues to grow by the day for both the kids and adult classes. We continue to be focused on providing more individulized and detailed instruction, in a more intimate environment, than what other programs have to offer while living our motto of "Teaching Traditional Karate and Values For a Modern World". We are also committed to providing other experiences to promote health and wellness through the ancient art of yoga and the 3 different yoga programs that are offered at our school.
